Following tensions over the locking of Shree Bhumika Temple, peace was restored in Pernem after the Deputy Collector and SDPO Jivba Dalvi intervened. A meeting was held at Ashwem Temple, where both parties were given instructions. Representatives from both sides attended the session, with another meeting set for tomorrow at 1 pm at the Deputy Collector’s office to ensure a lasting resolution.
