Before starting work on the Porvorim Flyover, the government is widening nearby roads to make space for traffic. They’ve set aside Rs 34 crore for this, and the Cabinet approved 15 of these projects directly.

This includes making roads wider, changing utility poles, and improving sharp turns. The goal is to prepare the area for smooth traffic flow during the flyover construction.
