Following reports of flooding at Neura Khazan, both in the press and on social media, Tiswadi Mamlatdar has swiftly responded by directing Agassaim Police to maintain strict vigilance at the sluicegates and khazan bandhs.

Concerns over irregularities and the alleged role of erring sluice gate contractors and Tenant Association committees have been highlighted by Khazan Action Committee Convenor Ramrao Wagh. Wagh has submitted a memorandum detailing these irregularities and has called for stringent action against those responsible.

This proactive response aims to address the immediate flooding concerns and ensure accountability for any negligence or malpractice in managing the khazan areas.
