In Mapusa, Goa, a bus driver and conductor have been arrested by the police for allegedly assaulting tourists from Pune. 

The incident occurred near Shantadurga temple in Calangute when the tourists, stuck in traffic, were confronted by the bus driver and conductor for not giving way.

 The tourists, Pratik Sitaram Alhat and Sultan Shaikh, were injured in the assault. The accused have been identified as bus driver Cajie Laurence D’Souza and conductor Sahil Kashinath Jadhav. The police have taken action against the perpetrators.
