In a tragic incident at Nuvem junction, rickshaw driver Abdul Shaikh lost his life after his rickshaw was hit by a four-wheeler. The collision was severe, resulting in the rickshaw being dragged nearly 20 meters by the vehicle. Abdul Shaikh succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital. 

Reports suggest that a malfunctioning traffic signal might have contributed to the accident. The incident raises concerns about road safety and the need for prompt maintenance of traffic signals to prevent such accidents in the future.
