Police arrested two delivery boys from Nepal, Mohan Chitar Raj (20) and Birat Zak Bahadur Basnet (23), in connection with the theft of goods worth Rs 1.90 lakh from a flat in Nerul. The incident occurred on June 8 when the suspects allegedly broke into the locked flat of Snehalkumar Patel from Vadodara, Gujarat. Stolen items included two MacBook laptops, an Apple Airpod, Nike shoes, and Rs 25,000 in cash. CCTV footage showed the delivery boys entering the building, leading to their detention by Porvorim police on June 16. They were subsequently arrested under IPC Sections 457 and 380, with further investigation ongoing under Police Inspector Ditendra Naik’s supervision.
