Mandrem police have charged Uganda national Shinah Esterh for allegedly biting a lady constable while on duty. The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon at Malpem, Pernem, as two lady constables were escorting Esterh from the Judicial Magistrate First Class to Central Jail, Colvale. Esterh reportedly bit one constable’s hand and scratched another. She was arrested on October 5 for overstaying in the country and was found residing illegally in Arambol without valid travel documents.
