Mormugao police apprehended a 24-year-old individual, Nagraj Pudajali from Shantinagar, Vasco, on charges of stealing items valued at Rs 70,000 from a warehouse located at Baina.
George Souza, the Director of Zesso Ventures Private Limited, filed a complaint, reporting the theft of 300 meters of four-square mm cables, 270 meters of AC cables, and 100 meters of earthing cables from the Sun 360 warehouse at Baina.
The incident occurred on Saturday, prompting the Mormugao police, led by PI Alvito Rodrigues and PSI Yeshwant Raikar, along with a team comprising head constable Ayaaz Shaikh and constables Vivek Bhagat, Rajaram Pandrekar, and Vassu Patel, to swiftly investigate the matter. The accused, Nagraj Pudajali, was subsequently arrested.
Nagraj Pudajali is facing charges under sections 454 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
