A 26-year-old man, Anshul Ghai from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, was detained at Mopa Airport after security screening revealed 6 live rounds of ammunition in his baggage. Upon investigation by Mopa Police, it was discovered that the bullets, approximately 20 years old, were given to Anshul by his aunt during a recent visit to Pune in memory of his late uncle, Colonel Mahesh Ghai. The police have confirmed this with the aunt. Anshul was traveling from Pune to Goa when the bullets were detected. He has been served a notice under Section 35 of the BNSS, and further investigations are ongoing.
