The Allahabad High Court on Thursday rejected the Muslim side’s applications challenging the maintainability of Hindu worshippers’ suits in the Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Eidgah mosque dispute in Mathura. The court ruled that these suits are not barred by the Limitation Act, Waqf Act, or Places of Worship Act, 1991, and are set for further hearings on August 12. The Muslim side plans to challenge the decision in the Supreme Court.
