AAP leader Atishi officially assumed office as Delhi’s eighth Chief Minister today, succeeding Arvind Kejriwal after his resignation. Reflecting on her new role, Atishi symbolically compared her situation to Bharat from the Ramayana, saying, “My situation is like that of Bharat, when Lord Shri Rama went into exile, and Bharat had to govern in his absence.”
