The Additional Sessions Court at Panaji (in Ponda) will deliver its verdict on Monday regarding the Crime Branch’s request to revoke Amit Palekar’s bail in the Banastarim fatal accident case. Palekar, a lawyer and politician, is accused of violating bail conditions by traveling abroad without proper authorization. His lawyer, Advocate Nitin Sardesai, argued that the allegations are politically motivated, noting that Palekar had obtained the necessary court permissions for his travels.
