The Council of Architecture (COA) has turned down the Goa College of Architecture’s request to double its student intake from 40 to 80. Instead, the COA approved an additional intake of only 20 students for the five-year full-time Bachelor of Architecture degree course. This decision follows a visit by a two-member inspection committee from the COA last month, which assessed the continuation and expansion of the architecture program.
