Naresh Sawal, a leader of the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) and former MLA, has tendered his resignation from the primary membership of the MGP.
Sawal, who contested the 2022 assembly polls on MGP’s ticket from the Bicholim constituency, expressed his dissatisfaction with MGP leaders like Dhavalikar, stating that they do not prioritize the concerns of ordinary people.
He mentioned that the people of Bicholim and North Goa have suffered. Sawal revealed his intention to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, but the choice of party ticket is yet to be decided. He plans to consult with his supporters before making a final decision.
