A series of burglaries occurred in Ekta Wado, Alto Dabolim, where robbers targeted six houses, making away with cash and gold totaling Rs 8 lakhs.

Suspicion has arisen among locals, as the targeted houses were all locked in a densely populated area. Some residents recall a recent visit by an individual posing as a Fakir, asking for Rotis in all the houses.

This has led to suspicions about the potential involvement of this person in the burglaries. The incidents are currently under investigation by local authorities.
