Health Minister V. Rane has announced plans to bolster Goa’s emergency response services by procuring additional ambulances. Out of the required 25-30 ambulances, 14 have already been replaced.

The minister highlighted the need for 10 cardiac ambulances to enhance critical care services. Moreover, the government plans to purchase 50 bike ambulances, primarily for deployment in coastal areas, to ensure swift medical assistance.
