Arif Siddique, a tourist from Kerala, was arrested for allegedly assaulting a doctor at Goa Medical College (GMC). After being abandoned by his friends following a week-long trip, Siddique was found injured by the roadside in Siolim and taken to a local primary health center before being transferred to GMC for further treatment. At GMC, Siddique reportedly attempted to slap and hit a doctor, obstructing medical duties. He has since been remanded in judicial custody.
