The Sarpanch of Mandrem, Goa, has decided to embark on an indefinite hunger strike to protest his exclusion from the inauguration of a new police station.
Expressing dissatisfaction with not receiving an invitation to the event, the Sarpanch has chosen this form of protest to voice his concerns.
