The Mapusa Municipal Council has unanimously decided to prohibit Gobi Manchurian stalls at the Bodgeshwar Zatra in Mapusa.

Concerns were raised regarding the hygiene practices of vendors at these stalls during festivals. The government directive mandates that such stalls should only operate with prior permissions from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). 

As a result, these stalls will not be allowed at the Zatra, with a proposal by Councillor Tarak Arolkar receiving unanimous support from other councilors.
