Anjuna Police apprehended five Sunburn festival employees, including Shivam Chari, Manjit Gawas, Yashin Mulla, and Sidhhanagouda Hanchinal, all residents of Ponda, on charges of stealing 600 event tickets valued at approximately ₹82 lakhs. Deputy Superintendent of Police (Mapusa) Jivba Dalvi confirmed that the festival organizers had filed a complaint against their own employees, leading to their arrest. The recovered tickets, worth Rs 50 lakh, have been seized from the accused.
