Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the consecration ceremony at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, expressed that today marks the arrival of Lord Ram after centuries of waiting, patience, and sacrifices. He stated that the construction of Ram Mandir has infused people with new energy and mentioned that the ‘Kalachakra’ (wheel of time) will now change. 

Modi offered an apology to Lord Shri Ram, acknowledging any shortcomings in the collective efforts, sacrifices, and penance over the centuries. He expressed belief that Lord Shri Ram will forgive them, now that the monumental task has been completed.
