Three unknown individuals abducted 33-year-old Hitesh Jangid from Rajasthan in a Maruti Brezza car in Thivim.

They demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh from his family, who dismissed the demand as a prank call. Subsequently, the perpetrators assaulted Jangid, confiscated his belongings including his mobile phone, gold ring, and wallet containing Rs. 5000, before abandoning him in Thivim.

Colvale Police, led by Inspector Vijay Rane, promptly responded to the complaint. They tracked down the kidnappers’ vehicle in Maharashtra and apprehended the suspects: Balveer Singh Gurjar, Mohanbari Jhunjhunun, and Raj Kumar Choudhary, all residents of Rajasthan.
