In the ongoing Mhadei river water sharing dispute, Karnataka has requested additional time from the Supreme Court to submit documents. Karnataka contends that Goa did not compile the documents properly.
The Supreme Court has granted a period of 8 weeks to Karnataka, Maharashtra and Goa to submit additional documents, with a scheduled hearing set to take place after six months.
