The spillway of the Selaulim Dam at Sanguem began overflowing on Sunday evening, creating a captivating sight for visitors during the monsoon season. This picturesque overflow marks an early filling of the reservoir, which serves as the primary source of raw water for South Goa.
Last year, the reservoir reached its capacity on July 20th, 2023, which is 13 days later compared to this year’s early overflow.
