The Chairman of the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Shrinivas Dempo, has expressed a positive view towards the Union Budget 2024-25, presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. He specifically noted that the budget is significant for Goa, particularly in terms of tourism. 

Dempo highlighted the potential benefits for the state, emphasizing the importance of conventions, business conferences, and spiritual tourism. Additionally, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant welcomed the budget, stating that it lays the foundation for “Vikasit Bharat 2047” and is designed with the next 25 years in mind. The Goa government expressed its overall appreciation for the budget.
