The Election Commission of India (ECI) is gearing up for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Training for poll personnel will commence on January 23.

It was also announced that guidelines for postal ballots, including provisions for government servants and police personnel, have been issued. 

Felicitation centers at polling booths, Mamlatdar offices, and training centers will be opened, with postal ballots required to reach the counting center before or by 8 am on counting day. The commission has also conducted meetings with political party representatives in preparation for the elections.
